At $4495 in the "walwart" power supply addition (more for better PSU), it's not inexpensive but it sounded out of the ordinary. I like Class A - great SET is only slightly better to my ears, and I listen to 90% acoustic music, mostly female vocals. I have only experience with the Phono Ref 2 - but is as it all - two inputs, variable loads, high and low gain, FET inputs stage with tubes, several EQs, balanced output, everything controlled from the remote. I can imagine that the Phono REF10 should be a lot better.
